About me

Hi—I’m Sean Norton, an Irish clinical psychologist with a strong commitment to helping people understand themselves better and live with more clarity and meaning.

I’ve worked in psychiatric settings, supporting people through high-risk suicidal crises and self-injury. That experience taught me that even in the hardest moments there can still be room for growth, understanding and rebuilding.

Today I work independently, offering online therapy to adolescents and adults. My main areas include:

  • Eating disorders
  • Autism spectrum experiences
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Perfectionism and harsh self-standards
  • Life transitions and adjustment
  • Expats and neurodivergent adults

What I love most is helping people reach the point where they start to question how they see themselves and the world—where awareness begins and change becomes possible.

Training & approach

I work primarily from a cognitive-behavioural (CBT) framework, integrating other evidence-based methods when they fit your needs. Online practice is designed to be a safe, flexible and accessible space—distance doesn’t have to be a barrier to meaningful support.
